Travel Memories from Washington D.C. and New York

I love taking photographs.  Since I have been so busy lately, I have not had the opportunity to go out shooting as much as I would like.

Recently, I took a trip to the Washington D.C. area and to New York with some colleagues.  Here is a sampling of some of the photographs I shot while on this trip.  My approach to photography is storytelling and journalism.  I am searching for the moments that capture our imagination.  They beg us for more.

One of my favorite photographs is the NY Skyline.  This photograph was shot from the roof of the NBC building. It has the Empire State Building in the foreground, the new Freedom Tower in the background and in the deep background is the Statue of Liberty.  During our visit, I had approximately two minutes to capture this shot before the angry clouds dumped their rain all over us.

More photographs from this trip can be found on my Flickr siteWashington D.C. and New York collections.  I am adding more photographs on a daily basis.
