We are now back in Pskov, Russia after looking at couple of portraits from the Czech Family Camp. Today, we bring it closer to home with our very own Dave Hueners.

Dave is married to Mary who was our Children's Ministry leader. As we have seen, Mary did an outstanding job leading over sixty kids each and every day for five days. That's a lot of kids.
On the other spectrum, Dave would hang out the kids and do some painting. His handy work can be seen in the Summer Missions Trip update. However, this picture was taken outside of the Pskov Baptist Church the Sunday before our week long ministry kicked off.
We were hanging out down by the river where people would go to cool off! As I was sitting on a nearby rock, I was deciding whether or not I would take a few shots of the river, but was feeling uninspired (it happens).
While sitting and pondering, I look up at Dave as he was sharing a story (probably about the steam house called the “bana”) and I took this picture. The background was perfectly blurred and Dave was in full swing and laughing it up. As you can see he had hand motions and everything, so it was a good story! With his lips slightly open, it adds a jovial quality to this picture, and that is what endears me to this picture.
And that's it for Jovial Dave. Tomorrow, we will walk through the doors of Pskov Baptist Church and take a look at a special moment. I look forward to seeing you back here tomorrow.
