Day six of the trip kicked off with a bang. I still woke up before the alarm, and even had time to sit on the balcony and do my devotions before the morning prayer time. As we headed to breakfast, Sasha asked,
Sasha: Can you do a short video of the camp so far?
Dave: Sure – when do you need it?
As I pulled photos and video together, I found that some classes were playing Twister and the kids were going to do a beach ball thing. As I perused through the pictures, I realized that I had enough material for 5 minute video and they only needed a “less than 2 minutes video”. Okay, time to start slashing and burning.
With a short 7 hour window (it sounds long, but its really not), I began to craft a quick little ditty, which I threw together starting around 3pm or so. I turned over the video at 6:15pm for the 7pm service. As with all things perceived well, the request then came for another one the next day. I think it is going to be hard to pull it off, so I think I am going to shoot for every other day. Enjoy this quick trip through the camp experience.
