Day 2: Pat Down in the EU

**Written in Frankfurt, Germany on July 7**

I have done a fair amount of traveling in my short life. I have gone through the Russian body scanners before they were popular. I have taken apart my cameras in Greece. And now…I can add another traveling story to my portfolio.

We landed safely in Frankfurt, cleared passport control, and breezed through customs. As standard practice across the EU when connecting to inter-European flights, you get to pass through security a second time. I got the standard EU pat down which could rival the highly publicized TSA pat down. However, I guess it is just one of those security measures we will be living with as our world turns topsy-turvy.

Until the next great installment of security checkpoint happenings…so long from Frankfurt, Germany.
