I find myself high above the ground aboard an AirTran flight bound from Baltimore, Maryland to Grand Rapids, Michigan. I spend the weekend in Charlottesville, VA with Anacleto Rapping at the Look3 photo festival before making the drive to Baltimore, MD for our Facilities Conference via Annapolis, MD.
Yesterday, I presented at the conference on the topic of Mindshifting. This is a current collaborative effort between Haworth, Inc's Ideation team and my department. Presenting typically brings its own set of challenges, especially since I don't present all that often, but for the past month or so I have had some serious writers block. It finally came together, but not until I spent a few solid days of late night writing, trips to Starbucks, and some lack of sleep. All-in-all, it went well.
Now, I headed up to Haworth Center for a strategy meeting with their social scientists and then on to Salt Lake City, UT on Friday, before heading home. It is still going to be a busy couple of days, but I am looking forward to relaxing a bit in the hotel tonight & sleeping in a little tomorrow morning.
