We travel half way around the globe to minister to Russians, and wouldn't you know it, we meet the only American in St. Peterburg, Russia who is there on a scholorship to study.
Amy comes from Kansas. She attended an English Camp the week before we got there, and met up with some of the translators who will work with our teams this summer. It is by no accident that God lead her to Comfort Baptist Church on Sunday. It is by no accident that we would be in Moscow the very next day and so would she. I love how God orchestrates His divine interactions for His children.
We think that we come only to serve Russians. To help them and encourage them. But the truth is…we never know what God has in store for us. Sometimes his children need encouragement. Sometimes He uses unsuspecting missionaries to bring a little light into someone's world to encourage them.
Needless to say, we had great conversations with Amy from Kansas in St. Petersburg, and then again in Moscow the very next day. Facebook will serve as a great tool for interacting, and who knows how God will use this interaction in the future. If it was just for encouragement, then that is fine. If it is for the future, than that is great as well. For now, Amy from Kansas, we wish you the best and may God Bless and keep you right in the center of His will. Blessings.
