Plane Nightlife

It's almost 4am local time (Amsterdam) and we are somewhere over the North Atlantic. The sky is an eery black and all that illuminates the sky is the blinking red light under the wing.

Ice on Hudson Bay

The sounds of the air conditioning drown out the noise in our headphones.  Television screens give the passenger's faces a rosy glow as they enter dreamland.  Cabin lights, mixed with reading lights, tell the story of the sleep deprived traveler.  The flight attendants move through the aisles with precision as if performing the waltz on Dancing with the Stars.  The sound of the attendant call button awakens a few from their sleepy slumber, but alas…

Jim is still asleep with his blinders on. Dustin is watching one of the fifty movie choices, and I am. . .well . . . writing this.

Soon it will be sunrise, and the beginning of another day.
