The Last Time I Was In Amsterdam…

I was seventeen years old, and I was touring The Continentals.  My fond memory of Amsterdam was watching our gear (sound equipment) be loaded into the belly of our KLM Boeing 747 while we were on the tarmac.  Awesome view!

Well…it's been nearly sixteen years since that day, and once again I am back in Amsterdam – if only for a brief stop in the airport.  I have several friends who live in Holland, but it seems that time and distance make that an ever-growing chasm.  It is interesting what you recall while traveling.

Anyway, we have landed but we are just passing through.  Next stop – St. Petersburg, Russia!
