Last week, we began a wellness program with a focus on reaching out to our own communities, and specifically to our neighboring community of Agoura Hills. As each of us strives to lose weight, exercise, and of course, eat right – it can be difficult to achieve all of these things with reckless abandon.
For me, one of the first things I did, was to find an app or web site that would help me keep track of my calories and exercise. I found two apps that I think will help you achieve your weight loss goals as well as provide valuable feedback so that you can make mid-course selections. Here's the first one.
Livestrong.com
If you are familiar with Lance Armstrong, then you are probably familiar with his foundation known as Livestrong. Livestrong's purpose is to raise awareness for healthy living and cancer. The Livestrong.com app is available on the web, iPhone, iPad, and Blackberry.
