For some of you, your life exists in seat 7A or 37B or the dreaded middle seat on any aircraft.
As I was traveling this past month, I realized that I wanted to take my Bible, my devotional, and a couple of books for general reading. Suddenly, my carry-on became a bookstore that just happened to have a few clothes in it.
Scratching my head, I realized that there are several tools to help one continue their devotions while moving from city-to-city and aircraft-to-aircraft. Below is a list of some helpful resources for the road warrior.
- Devices – Apple iPad, Amazon Kindle, Barnes & Noble Nook
- Bible – Youversion.com, Bible Gateway
- Devotionals: Jesus Calling, Grace for the Moment Daily Bible, Faithbook of Jesus, Our Daily Bread
If you still love the books (as I do), but want to regain some valuable luggage space – I hope these resources will help you to stay connected to your personal devotion time with God while on the road.
