WordPress.com has been a great solution for me, but I really felt like I just wanted a little more customization so. . . I bit the bullet and moved to a self-hosted solution with MediaTemple and WordPress.org and I'm using the very powerful Standard Theme provided by Human3rror and Milk Engine.
