Sink Your Teeth in It or Not

At the beginning of the month, I headed to the dentist for my annual "tell me how much work is going to be done in my mouth" visit.  I love my dentist.  She has been my dentist for nearly 27 years.  If I moved out of state, I would fly back for a dentist appointment, that's how much I love my dentist.  I jest about the comment above, but it is true.

X-Rays, dental exam & I'm going to refer to an Endodontist – i think you might have internal resorption going on & I just want to be safe came the response.  Oh yeah and you have a little decay under that crown.  Unfortunately, this is par for the course.  Bad genetics you see.  However, my dentist always has my best interest at heart, that's why I love her.

Anyway, a temporary crown later, a root canal after that, a reduced appetite, a TON of stress & I have lost about 5-6 pounds in a week.  Not bad.  More on internal resorption in another post.  Until the next dental appointment (next week) – good nite.
