So today didn't go exactly as I had planned. My morning breakfast meet up with my good pastor friend Andy was fantastic. We kicked around some great ideas for a project we are working on – it was fantastic. After that I found my way into work where I was following up with another planner on a big move we were doing this weekend. For the most part that went well – minor tweaks to tomorrow's task list for the movers but good all-around.
After that I wanted to work on a new plan for our next phase, but my mind wasn't cooperating. I had so much other stuff going on in my brain that my creative juices were not flowing so I scrapped it & the next task (setting lights for worship at church) & headed home. Watched a little "Numb3ers" then went for a run. For months, I have seen this trail that just heads up a hill & so today, I needed to clear my head & headed up the trail – perhaps a little more training should have been in order – very steep, but the views were spectacular.
A little dinner, a little TV, and soon sleep (after the ice cream). Tomorrow is another day & the kick-off song is Lincoln Brewster's new one "Today Is The Day" which is fantastic & has been in my head all-week – can't wait. Have a great Sunday!
