Life Interruptuss. . .

What happens when life seems to get interrupted by whatever life throws at you? Kind of sounds funny when you think about it that life would interrupt you by throwing things at you. But in the end it happens. For the past couple of weeks we opened our home to someone in need. It was one of the best decisions we have done. I found myself searching for God in ways I had never done before.

What can we learn from life interruptess???

  • Graciousness – opening your heart and/or home to someone in need is a wonderful model to pass on
  • Hospitality – sometimes you never know you have the gift of hospitality or even the inclination until God decides to drop it on your doorstep (literally).
  • Accountability – when someone enters your home & lives with you, you now have the opportunity to work with them & to help drive them to accountability. It also makes you work even harder at your own.
  • Blessing – God gives blessings when we seek Him with all our heart – when we sacrifice – when we expect nothing in return

If God lays a need on your heart, don't let a day go by without attending to the need. Be open to what He wants to teach you through these experiences.
