The Plans I Have For You

(Old post from 2007)

Today’s Scripture – Jeremiah 29:11 – “For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.”

Continuing with the theme we started earlier about being anxious, today we look at the plans God has for you. How many times do we try to influence our plans on God? He guides us and leads us down the road that He desires for us. We can choose to accept that path or we can choose our own or different path. The question is will it be as good as the one He has scripted for us? I think that if we follow His will for our lives we will never be disappointed and we will receive the blessings he has for us. This does not mean that we will not encounter growth experiences or problems, but He knows what is best for us.

Application: Hindsight is always 20/20 – what event do you look back on and see God’s Hands all through it?
