Unexpected Blessings

This week has been a really long week. At the beginning of the week, I was not feeling good; then towards the middle of the week, work picked up unexpectedly with a huge project due next week and by today I found myself in a job interview, juggling meetings with senior managers, still trying to finish the project, adding a DVD memorial project to my list, and attending a funeral. Boy am I tired.

Today, I received two unexpected gifts. One was an award for a project I worked on and the other was a gift for helping someone do something. Both were completely unexpected and were incredibly gracious.

I don't always understand what God is doing, but His gifts are always timely and just what I need for the moment.
