Faithful with the Small

As a follow-up to my posts – Resource Management and What Could I Do Without – I conclude these financial postings with a charge. A charge to step forth and to boldly use the resources that God has given you in real and purposeful ways. God gives us what we can handle – talent-wise, financially, responsibility – if we are faithful in using the small portions he gives us, then He knows that we can be faithful with much. For whom much is given, much is required.

My encouragement to anyone reading this is the same that I am giving myself, be faithful and smart with God's money. If you are in debt, get out and start fresh. His money can do so much and if we treat the money He gives us and His, then it will go so much further. It's always hard to admit your shortcomings, your faults, but I think God is really speaking to me in this area, because this is where I am at, and I want to start fresh with His money as fast as possible.

Be faithful with the small, so that you can be faithful with the big — whatever that may be!
